Fernleigh Care Home has invested substantially into the decor of our Home. We are proud to have worked with dementia design experts RemPods (Dragons Den winner 2013) and ,in order to provide our residents with a calming, dementia friendly environment.
All our bedrooms are fully furnished to high standards, and en-suite bathrooms are available in some of our rooms. Those rooms that are not en-suite are furnished with a sink area, and all bedrooms have a nurse call system. Televisions are provided in all our bedrooms for residents wishing to enjoy their favourite programmes in their own peaceful surroundings. Arrangements can be made for residents to have telephones in their bedrooms
There are specialist bathing and shower facilities and our residents can choose how they wish their hygiene needs to be met. Externally, there is a well-kept spacious garden and court yard that is accessible to all wheelchairs and mobility aids.
When you choose to reside here at Fernleigh, we welcome you to bring along your own pieces of furniture and personal mementos to make the bedroom feel more familiar and ease the transition of the move.
Easy read signage around the home assists our residents and Wifi is available throughout for those residents wishing to keep in touch with families and friends using technology.
